UC Davis Stem Squad

STEM Squad is an after school science program for middle school students facilitated by the UC Davis graduate student organization Equity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Entrepreneurship (ESTEME), in partnership with local schools.

The goal of this enrichment program is to expose students to the many potential careers within science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, and motivate them to pursue further education in these areas. Through a variety of hands-on activities, we create an open learning environment for students to explore and experience science and technology. We also engage students through guest speakers from diverse personal and professional backgrounds so students can connect with knowledgeable mentors and gain a better understanding of specific STEM careers.
